Missing Letters of a Lesson...

PPD lesson was there as scheduled, but unfortunately I missed that.Instead of  attending it I went to participate for an induction day which was organized for a project that we are planning to do with some foreign students who are from China and Mexico.Project is based on water conservation. We are planning to do awareness programs for school children and to hold beach cleaning programs  with our foreign friends. On induction day we explained and discussed about our future plan of the project. Also we explain them the way to live in this new environment (How to reach their destinations in buses ,where are the supermarkets ,how to be safe and etc. ).After all these things are done we did not forget to have some fun event with them.We danced with them at the end.It was an amazing experience where we had an opportunity to work with people which belongs to different cultures.

We asked our friends what are the activities that they have done in PPD session.According to them we knew that students are grouped and they have asked to decide that 3 specialists from 3 different fields. Student could decide that which field that they are interested most and what  they are clever for.
I just talked to two colleagues and asked about the field that they are interested most. One of them is Pubudu. He also attended to the same event with me.So he also missed the PPD session. He knows nook and corner about cars and frequently get updated by latest news about automobile. He owns a nice collection of model cars which belongs to various types. So he is a expert about cars of course..πŸ˜…
Next person is Gayan. He has a good business mind. His mind is flooding with new business ideas which are never implemented.πŸ˜…πŸ˜‹But he helps for his family business and therefore he  have a good business based background. And he have a good knowledge about cars also.

Third person is me.I have a moderating knowledge about graphic designing, specially image editing and logo designing.I am seeking for new knowledge about those things and still learning about it.But I am so much interested about that field.
Combining theses three skills and having a new innovative idea was not that much hard.I have graphic designing skill, while Pubudu is having knowledge about cars and Gayan is having business knowledge .By combining all three together we can build a e-learning system which offers online paid courses about latest and upcoming car technology technologies. These courses will be well planned that users can know all information about a specific technology from a one place, instead of roaming around the internet.Within this idea, Pubudu can manage the technical side of car knowledge while Gayan handle the financial side of the business.I can promote this business by using my graphic designing knowledge ,preparing advertisements and attractive posts and etc.

If we were there in the PPD session this could be changed because we are chosen in a random method and we will have different kinds of skilled people.
And in next activity a paper and twine threads are been provided for each group. Each member is having a thread which is connected to a one common pen. Some how all members have to manage  and write the words on paper which are written on the board. They had to balance the pen from threads that they hold.Actually this activity enhance the communication skills mainly, which can be seen as an essential factor in this case. Team building and leadership skill  will also be developed by this activity.
