Look Back at University Life - 2k17

It was my second year in university.Can't even imagine that a whole year has passed and that we are about to step to our third year..

Through out this year I faced to lots of challenges , met new friends and got new achievements to my life. At the end of this year I am satisfied with what I have achieved so far in this year .When I think about the start of this year it was not a good start since I had some falitures in my private life.I was lucky to have bunch of friends who had a warm hearts who always with me to share my feelings and cheer me up all the time.I am very thankful to them to treat me like that when I needed them mostly.

Even I was not in a great happy mood I did not stop the things that I must do for my success.My friends encouraged me to apply for lots of competitions and I was happy to have such opportunities which will be important to my future success. 

 


  I enjoyed the every moment that I spent with them while I gain new experiences for my life.In some competitions we were success while other things became a good experience for other competitions.Most important thing I have learned is that studies are not every thing for the life.There must be a diversity in life.We must give priority to academic side ,because it affects to our carrier life, but other things are also important to life.Moments that we pass by can not get later.Every moment is precious we must enjoy this life.In this year I earned some achievements in my sports life also. In Karate I got a green belt after my karate grading examinations.


 I am satisfied with what I have got so far in this year .Even though it started with faliture, I came toward the successful ending at the end .All I learnt is that  success is depend on our own hand.That can not be given from outside, all begins in our inside. And environment around us can affect us of course, that is why I was thankful to my colleagues who gave me a strength to have all these achievements.

It was an another PPD session for us...groups were divided...a photo was given to each group.....it was asked to cut into more than 70 pieces ..... OK..We have to prepare the puzzle right??? That what we all thought...😅 After the pieces were given to us,we all started to collect pieces and tried to complete the picture...but then we realized that some pieces are not belong to us and some of our pieces are missing! Personal Progress Development - A New Learning Experiance in University Life

Sitting in a lecture hall for hours, listening to lecturer and write down notes are the things that we do normally everyday at the university.But it was a whole different experience when it comes to the PPD lessons.PPD or Personal Progress Development lessons are uplifting our presentation skills, communication skills, leadership skills and group working ability.  PPD is not a normal lecture series. It consists of lot of group activities which gives us not only a valuable lesson, but also which add valuable memories to our university life. In first year we did some enjoyable group activities.  1.Helium stick    We were grouped and there are about 10 members in a group. This game was introduced as ‘Helium stick’. We had to pull that stick down by using only thumb .First we thought that it’s a easy task. But it wasn’t a simple task. We had to hold the stick by using our thumbs, and bring that down. Missing Letters of a Lesson...

PPD lesson was there as scheduled, but unfortunately I missed that.Instead of  attending it I went to participate for an induction day which was organized for a project that we are planning to do with some foreign students who are from China and Mexico.Project is based on water conservation.We are planning to do awareness programs for school children and to hold beach cleaning programs  with our foreign friends.On induction day we explained and discussed about our future plan of the project.Also we explain them the way to live in this new environment (How to reach their destinations in buses ,where are the supermarkets ,how to be safe and etc. ).After all these things are done we did not forget to have some fun event with them.We danced with them at the end.It was an amazing experience where we had an opportunity to work with people which belongs to different cultures.      We asked our friends what are the activities that they have done in PPD sessi...
