'Table Ethics' in a Delicious manner ! - @Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management

Our Software Engineering batch was divided into two different groups for the hotel school visit and we were the most luckiest first group!😋
In the morning we left the university premises, and after about one hour journey we arrived to the hotel school. We had two main sessions there.
First session was a explanation about the table ethics and some important social ethics.First we thought  that this would be an only about table ethics session. But Mr.Dickson explained us about how to wear properly for a special function, how to behave in such a place ,difference types of occasions(cocktail parties, business parties, casual parties and etc. ), how to match our cloths properly, how these ethics can be differ from each culture and etc.But mainly he focused to our main topic ,table ethics. He taught us how to use cutlery properly and how to behave properly while we get a meal.
Second session was the best session for me!It was how to use those theories practically ,that he taught .It was a lunch which was arranged for us to practice those ethics.
First they served a avocado juice with ice cream mounted on top as an appetizer. We were very thirsty at that moment and took very small time to finish it 😂
Then they served bread with garlic butter. While we are eating bread then they served the starter course. It was a soup with beacon. After that course we got our main course roasted chicken with potato chips.

After this main course we had nice coffee gateau as the desert.

While we are enjoying our meal we learned how to use different cutlery items for different kinds of food how to behave in a place like that.It was a great opportunity to students like us because we can't afford for a session like this in a five star hotel.
